How to Fall Asleep Quickly with the Right Relaxing Music

Published by Jans Wulrich on

Are you tired of struggling to fall asleep at night? Soothing music may be the answer you’ve been searching for. Calming melodies can help relax the mind and body, making it easier to drift off into dreamland. If you’re interested in using music to fall asleep quickly, here are a few tips to get you started.

Comfortable headphones designed for sleeping are a great investment

First, choose a playlist of relaxing songs. You can find a variety of soothing music options on streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music. If you’re looking for something a little more visual, try using YouTube to find relaxing music videos. I am (of course) excited to share my own music with everyone and would invite you to listen to my channel on YouTube. Myself and other amazing creative people upload videos with calming music and nature footage, which can be a great way to unwind before bed. Just be sure to turn off the lights and turn down the volume to a comfortable level.

Another option is to invest in a pair of headphones designed for sleeping. Here are the headphones I use. Compared to normal headphones, these are very inexpensive and come in under $14. I have tried several brands in both wired and wireless and have found these to be the most comfortable for me. These are flat and built into a soft headband, allowing you to comfortably lay sideways on a pillow while still fully immersed in the music. Some options even come with a sleep timer, so you don’t have to worry about turning off the music manually.

You can also try using a sleep app that plays calming sounds or guided meditations to help you relax. These apps often have a variety of options to choose from, such as white noise, ocean waves, or nature sounds. Some even have sleep stories, which are narrated stories designed to lull you to sleep.

Incorporating music into your bedtime routine can be a simple and effective way to fall asleep quickly. Give it a try and see how it works for you. Sweet dreams!
